Business Van Finance is a trading style of First Oak Capital Limited.

In the interest of treating customers fairly, we request that you read the terms and conditions below prior to completing an application.

    Status disclosure

    Who are we?

Business Van Finance is a trading style of First Oak Capital Limited, Old Farm Barns, Lowlands Farm, Riversdown Road, West Meon, Hampshire GU32 1JS.

For the avoidance of doubt, First Oak Capital Limited is not a lender; we are a credit broker, and the purpose of our service is to introduce you to a suitable lender.

First Oak Capital Limited is authorised and regulated by the FCA for credit-related activities with reference number 984955. This can be verified by viewing the financial services register or by contacting the FCA on 0800 111 6768.

You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us. We may ask you some questions to narrow down the selection of products or options that may be available to you or your business. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

    How can we help?

We can introduce you to a number of lenders who may be able to help fund your van purchase or provide a finance facility to your business. We can only introduce you to these lenders.

Do you have to pay us for our help?

We do not charge an arrangement fee to business customers for van finance introductions. A lender will pay us a commission for making an introduction where a finance agreement is completed.

In certain circumstances, we may also charge an administration fee depending on the nature of the finance product and the amount of work involved. You will be made aware of this in good time before accepting any agreement.

Do we provide independent financial advice?

No. We are not independent financial advisers and are therefore unable to provide you with independent financial advice. Please speak to your accountant or adviser before making any decisions if you feel unsure.

    Commission disclosure

If you are completely satisfied with a finance offer and decide to proceed, we will receive a commission from the lender. The value of this commission is decided by the lender and may vary depending on factors such as the loan size, the type of asset being financed, the type of finance product, and your credit profile.

Different lenders pay different amounts, based on different commission models. For transparency, we work with the following models: fixed fee, fixed rate of commission, and a percentage of the amount you borrow.

Under some commission models, the more you pay to the lender, the more we may receive by way of commission. We will always inform you of our arrangement with a lender or any additional administration fee before you agree to accept a finance agreement.

Business customers: Some lenders give us the ability to increase or lower the interest charges in order to affect the amount of commission we may receive. This is always included in the monthly payment and total amount repayable.
